Comr. Tomiwa Warns The Acting Governor Not To Play Pranks On Odigbo youths


We have convened this press briefing today to address a matter of utmost importance for the peace and stability of Odigbo Local Government and the South West region. Comrade Tomiwa Matthews, the Majority Leader of the South West Youth Parliament and a dedicated indigene of Odigbo Local, wishes to draw attention to a pressing concern regarding to imposing Nwambara as the Caretaker Chairman and the protest In Akure

Comrade Matthews has expressed deep reservations and concerns about this appointment. He strongly warns against any attempt to play pranks with the people of Odigbo. He believes that such actions could lead to dire consequences and the eruption of crises within the community like what happens between the Ife/Modakeke.

Furthermore, Comrade Matthews wishes to emphasize that the protests and expressions of concern from the youth of Odigbo Local Government should not be perceived as mere demonstrations. The youth of Odigbo are resolute and committed to the well-being of their community. They mean business, and their voices deserve to be heard and respected.

It is essential to heed the warning of Comrade Tomiwa Matthews and prioritize the welfare and peace of Odigbo Local Government. The people's interests must be safeguarded, and their voices heard. N igerians have resolved to stage another protest over the ruling of the Lagos State Judicial Panel allowing Lekki Concession Company to regain possession and reopen the Lekki tollgate. In the next two years I want people to remember Odigbo my town whenever they hear my name, for example people remember Ekiti whenever they heard the name of Yinka Ayefele and people remember Ondo City when they heard the name of King Sunny Ade, so I pray that God should let the name of my town be heard whenever they hear my name". Lagos CP Condemns Molestation Of Arrested Lekki Toll Gate Protesters, Orders Investigation

  The Lagos State Commissioner of Police, CP Hakeem Odumosu, has condemned the molestation of the arrested Lekki Toll Gate protesters and demanded an immediate investigation into the incident. Comedian Debo Adebayo,  popularly known as Mr Macaroni,  along with some others were arrested by the police last Saturday while trying to protest over the decision of the Lagos State Judicial Panel of Inquiry to reopen the Lekki Toll Gate and hand it over to the Lekki Concession Company. They were also said to have been mistreated as videos that have gone viral online, showed some of them being thrown shirtless into a police van.
