AGBOOLA, DOTHMAN HIT ODIGBO TOWN AS PDP CAMPAIGN RALLY CONTINUES.
The Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) Ondo South Senatorial Candidate, Chief Alfred Agboola Ajayi, Odigbo Constituency 1 Member House of Assembly Candidate, Hon. Dotun Olorunyomi and other party leaders were warmly received by a delighted crowd of party members and supporters in Odigbo town yesterday evening.
Party members and supporters had gathered at Ligimeta Junction to accompany the two candidates who rode in a motorcade, waving amid fanfare en route party office at Enu-Owa where other party members were waiting.
After a short prayer by Pastor Felix Olatunde, quickly followed by a short address from PDP Odigbo Ward Chairman, Mr. Ifatujosin Paul and Odigbo LG Youth Leader, Mr. Oyebade Igbagbo respectively, Engineer Ademulegun thanked the people of Odigbo for the warm reception and the turn out.
Chief Agboola, in his remarks, assured that Odigbo will not be neglected if he becomes a Senator and urged the people to vote all PDP candidates from the Presidential Candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar to Chief Agboola Ajayi (Senate) to Dr. Olatunji Julius(MHR), and Hon. Dotun Olorunyomi(MHA) in the coming elections.
Hon. Dotun Olorunyomi could only utter few words in his address before the chants of "K'eni k'eni ma f'owo kan Bobo yen, ara wa ni...... " encapsulated the arena.
He however reminded the crowd about these crucial elections dates, charging them to remain firm in their resolve to rescue Odigbo Constituency 1 and Nigeria from bad governance.
The two candidates and a team of party leaders proceeded to the Palace of Orunja to pay homage to the Paramount Ruler of Odigbo Kingdom, Oba Dr. Rufus Olugboyega Akinrinmade.
Royal Father prayed for success at the poll. HE noted the role played by Chief Agboola Alfred Agboola Ajayi in his status as a First Class Monarch when he was Ondo State Deputy Governor and pledged his support.
On the campaign train with the two PDP candidates were Prince Ola Mafo(Former Ondo State Commissioner for Information and Sports), Mrs. Kehinde Momoh(Former Ondo State Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Development), Bar. Allen Sowore Esq(Director, Media & Publicity Ondo South Senatorial District Campaign Council), and Mr. Femi Akinwehinmi.
