On this 1st of October, I join the good people of Odigbo Ward and indeed all Nigerians in celebrating our nation’s Independence Day. Today reminds us of the courage of our founding fathers and the responsibility we all share to build a Nigeria that works for everyone. As Chairman of Odigbo Ward, I am proud of the unity, resilience, and determination of our people. Together, we will continue to contribute our quota to the progress of Odigbo Local Government, Ondo State, and Nigeria as a whole. May the spirit of freedom inspire us to remain united, peaceful, and committed to development. May God bless Odigbo Ward, Odigbo Local Government, Ondo State, and the Federal Republic of Nigeria. *Happy Independence Day!* 🎉🇳🇬 *Ogbeni Victor Akinnubi ADC WARD CHAIRMAN ODIGBO WARD 8*
The Ondo State Government has dismissed afake news being disseminated on social media on recruitment of new secondary school teachers. This is contained in a statement signed by Tolu Adeyemi, Permanent Secretary, Ondo state Teaching Service Commission and a copy obtained by Odigbo News at the weekend. Adeyemi said, “the attention of the Teaching Service Commission has been drawn to the growing speculation on a purported recruitment exercise undertaken by the body. “For the avoidance of doubt, members of the public are enjoined to disregard the rumour as it is totally false. “There is no recruitment exercise at the moment. The Commission has also not authorised anyone to act on its behalf in that regard,” Adeyemi said
