RT..HON AKINFOLARIN MAYOWA DONATES VEHICLE TO ORE POLICE AREA COMMAND

The lawmaker representing Ile-oluji/Oke-igbo & Odigbo federal constituency in the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon Akinfolarin Mayowa has reinforce Nigeria Police Force Area Command Ore with a Siena Bus.

Hon Amidu Takuro and Ifesowapo Elders forum on Thursday, 3rd of June 2021 handed over the vehicle to the command in Ore, Odigbo LG.

The operational vehicle is parts of the people’s representative effort to support Nigeria police to help them in the fight against, crime, banditry, armed robbery and kidnapping.

Recalled that Some months ago, the Ifesowapo elders forum met with Rt. Hon Akinfolarin Mayowa and requested for 3 ( three) projects from him, which are, i) patrol Vehicle for the police to aid their work ii)completion of Sabo – Show boy road and
iii)completion of Ore Civic Center.
Within the space of three(3) months from the time the request was made the people’s representative who is also the Chairman House committee on FRSC has successfully done two (2) projects out of the (3) three projects requested for.

Today the official handing over of the Siena bus to the Ore Police Area Command was observed while works are on going in Sabo – Showboy road at the pace of lightening.

While reiterating his commitment to security of lives and property in the state, the Lawmaker said, “I will continue to provide the needed support to security agencies working in Ile-Oluji/Oke-Igbo & Odigbo federal Constituency and prioritise the safety and security of my people.”

The Ore Police Area Commander, ACP Ajamolaya commended Rt. Hon Akinfolarin Mayowa on his efforts towards ensuring that the command’s efforts to tackle insecurity menace in the state is been supported by this kind gesture.

 In an interview conducted by Odigbo Newspaper on Sunday 14th February 2021 with Temitope Olaoye King Atayese, "He said he is proud to be an Odigbo boy. In the next two years I want people to remember Odigbo my town whenever they hear my name, for example people remember Ekiti whenever they heard the name of Yinka Ayefele and people remember Ondo City when they heard the name of King Sunny Ade, so I pray that God should let the name of my town be heard whenever they hear my name". Lagos CP Condemns Molestation Of Arrested Lekki Toll Gate Protesters, Orders Investigation

  The Lagos State Commissioner of Police, CP Hakeem Odumosu, has condemned the molestation of the arrested Lekki Toll Gate protesters and demanded an immediate investigation into the incident. Comedian Debo Adebayo,  popularly known as Mr Macaroni,  along with some others were arrested by the police last Saturday while trying to protest over the decision of the Lagos State Judicial Panel of Inquiry to reopen the Lekki Toll Gate and hand it over to the Lekki Concession Company. They were also said to have been mistreated as videos that have gone viral online, showed some of them being thrown shirtless into a police van.
