PASTOR (DR) ABINA OPENS UP DAYS AFTER HIS SON’ DEATH AND BURIAL


Says; “THE DEATH OF MY SON WAS REALLY PAINFUL TO ME, YOUR PRAYERS HAVE KEPT ME”

The General Overseer of The Gospel Faith Mission International, Pastor (Dr) Elijah Oludele Abina opened up on the death of his first son, the Late Pastor Emmanuel Folorunsho Abina who passed on to glory on the 28th of April 2021 and was buried on 28th May, 2021.

Daddy Abina started by appreciating all the members of GOFAMINT worldwide for standing by him during the period.  In his words, he said, “words cannot capture the level of my gratitude to you all for all that you did for me during my son’s passing. “  He said further, I really feel your prayers and they worked for me. 

On how the death of his son has affected him as a father, he said, it was very painful for me, but the Lord is seeing me through.  In fact, I used to write it that God is good to me. I still write it after my son’s passing, that God is good to me.

Pastor (Dr) Elijah Abina made these statements as part of his opening address to the Council of Ministers’ Meeting held at the International Office, Ogun state on Monday 7th June, 2021.

He also implored all GOFAMINT members to read the book of Ephesians 4. He specifically harped on ‘enduring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace’ among the body of Christ. Finally, Daddy Abina told his audience to be circumspect with their spiritual lives because, Heaven is real.

N igerians have resolved to stage another protest over the ruling of the Lagos State Judicial Panel allowing Lekki Concession Company to regain possession and reopen the Lekki tollgate. The Lagos panel was divided as five of the nine members of the panel led by Justice Doris Okuwobi (rtd), voted in support of the reopening of the tollgate at the last sitting on Saturday. I want people to remember my town when ever they hear my name;

 In an interview conducted by Odigbo Newspaper on Sunday 14th February 2021 with Temitope Olaoye King Atayese, "He said he is proud to be an Odigbo boy. In the next two years I want people to remember Odigbo my town whenever they hear my name, for example people remember Ekiti whenever they heard the name of Yinka Ayefele and people remember Ondo City when they heard the name of King Sunny Ade, so I pray that God should let the name of my town be heard whenever they hear my name". He equally use the medium to invite his fans to the launching of His new album which will come up on Sunday 21st of February 2021.

Lagos CP Condemns Molestation Of Arrested Lekki Toll Gate Protesters, Orders Investigation

  The Lagos State Commissioner of Police, CP Hakeem Odumosu, has condemned the molestation of the arrested Lekki Toll Gate protesters and demanded an immediate investigation into the incident. Comedian Debo Adebayo,  popularly known as Mr Macaroni,  along with some others were arrested by the police last Saturday while trying to protest over the decision of the Lagos State Judicial Panel of Inquiry to reopen the Lekki Toll Gate and hand it over to the Lekki Concession Company. They were also said to have been mistreated as videos that have gone viral online, showed some of them being thrown shirtless into a police van.
