#ENDSARS: Message to my counstituency youth. Rt. Hon. Mayowa Akinfolarin


My dear brothers and sisters.I am indeed disturbed by the recent happenings in Nigeria, our dear Ondo State and our local government as well as Federal CONSTITUENCY.I am mostly disturbed by all these killings of our urarmed innocent  youths and the destruction of public and private properties by some hoodlums.


As I share in the pains of the Nigerians youths in respect of the Brutalization and killing of Our innocent youths who are protesting peacefully across the states of the nation in the past few days.I pray that the souls of our falling heroes rest in peace.

As your representative  and friend,I was Dazed and Flummoxed by the wanton of destruction Orchestrated by some Hoodlums and miscreants  under the guise of Peaceful protests,I want to admonish you all to sheath your sword and allow government to address all the agitations submitted, the level of Goods destroyed by these Hoodlums is unbearable and Unbecoming,  the protest is becoming a Riots and no more a peaceful protest. 


Dear youths,I will advise us to please look critically into this and not allow our region,the *SOUTH WEST* to be used as a battle ground because the level of destructions going on in the *south west* is indeed terrible and not happening in other region. We should know that Offices,courts,local govt secretariats,companies etc that were burnt by those who are not genuine protesters are where some people earn their livings,feed their families and send their children to schools etc. Although nothing can replace the lives of the lost heroes killed during these peaceful protests,but we should also remember that Even if the Government rebuild those public properties that were destroyed , who will rebuild the one built with the labour of our Father's, Mother's, Brother's and Sister's that were also destroyed or who will give life to those who lost their lives?


I want you to know that as your representative, we will continue to do all within our reach to talk to and advise the appropriate quarters on what will make life comfortable for us all.I share in your concern that things are terribly bad,people are really suffering and people are not happy at all with the government, but I urge us to believe that sooner than expected, things will be in shape.


It is on this note that I want to beg you all to stop the destruction of our own Heritage. We should not allow some hoodlums  who do not want the best for our region to destroy the legacies of our forefathers. I want you to know that what some youths are doing now is no longer a peaceful protest against government but  We are fighting and at war with ourselves. It is truism that we have  all rights to protest  and it is constitutionally guaranteed but Wanton destruction of lives and properties is a crime against God and humanity.


I beg you to know that some people who do not have the love of our state,federal constituency or local government at hearts have infiltrated us and they are ready to do damages that will not go for years.


Don't allow yourselves to be used against your own.I appeal to you to please CALM DOWN.

N igerians have resolved to stage another protest over the ruling of the Lagos State Judicial Panel allowing Lekki Concession Company to regain possession and reopen the Lekki tollgate. The tollgate has been closed following the shooting and killing of #EndSARS protesters by soldiers and police. The Lagos panel was divided as five of the nine members of the panel led by Justice Doris Okuwobi (rtd), voted in support of the reopening of the tollgate at the last sitting on Saturday. Irked by the decision of the panel, Nigerians have planned a protest at the tollgate stating that the tollgate remains shut until justice is served to the victims of the Lekki shooting. The protest has been fixed for Saturday, February 13, 2021 from 7am.

I want people to remember my town when ever they hear my name;

 In an interview conducted by Odigbo Newspaper on Sunday 14th February 2021 with Temitope Olaoye King Atayese, "He said he is proud to be an Odigbo boy. In the next two years I want people to remember Odigbo my town whenever they hear my name, for example people remember Ekiti whenever they heard the name of Yinka Ayefele and people remember Ondo City when they heard the name of King Sunny Ade, so I pray that God should let the name of my town be heard whenever they hear my name". He equally use the medium to invite his fans to the launching of His new album which will come up on Sunday 21st of February 2021.

Lagos CP Condemns Molestation Of Arrested Lekki Toll Gate Protesters, Orders Investigation

  The Lagos State Commissioner of Police, CP Hakeem Odumosu, has condemned the molestation of the arrested Lekki Toll Gate protesters and demanded an immediate investigation into the incident. Comedian Debo Adebayo,  popularly known as Mr Macaroni,  along with some others were arrested by the police last Saturday while trying to protest over the decision of the Lagos State Judicial Panel of Inquiry to reopen the Lekki Toll Gate and hand it over to the Lekki Concession Company. They were also said to have been mistreated as videos that have gone viral online, showed some of them being thrown shirtless into a police van.
