PRESS STATEMENT Date: 13 November 2025 Call for Unity and Condemnation of Factional Moves in ADC Odigbo Local Government The leadership and committed members of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Odigbo Local Government have observed with deep concern the recent attempt by *Engr. Raphael Ademulegun* to create division within our great party by painting and branding a factional party office within the local government. This act is unacceptable and stands against the values of unity, peace, and collective progress that the ADC represents. Odigbo ADC remains one indivisible family under the recognized leadership structure. Any move that seeks to create parallel leadership or offices is a direct attempt to weaken the strength of our great party and distract members from our shared goal of grassroots development and effective political participation. We therefore: • Condemn in strong terms the divisive action taken by Engr. Raphael Ademulegun and his supporters. • Reaffirm...

Ogbeni Victor Akinnubi calls for Accountability and Transparency in Odigbo Local Government.

Image
A Call for Accountability in Odigbo Local Government By Ogbeni Victor Akinnubi (ward chairman of ADC, Odigbo ward 8) It is high time we, the people of Odigbo Local Government, demanded transparency and accountability from those entrusted with our collective resources. Month after month, Odigbo Local Government receives a substantial allocation from the Federal Government — running into hundreds of millions of naira — yet there is little or no visible development to justify these funds. As concerned citizens and stakeholders, we deserve to know how these allocations are being utilized. Our roads remain deplorable, our schools and healthcare centers lack basic amenities, and the welfare of our people continues to deteriorate despite the huge inflow of public funds. Local governance is meant to bring government closer to the people, not to distance them from the benefits of democracy. Therefore, I, Ogbeni Victor Akinnubi , call on the Executive Chairman of Odigbo Local Govern...

The Only "C" Option left for us is "CONFRONTATION" By Comrade Tomiwa Matthews

Image
I stand before you today as a representative of the resilient and unwavering people of Odigbo Local Government. Our community is currently facing a crisis that we can no longer ignore or endure silently. We have exhausted all peaceful means in our struggle to be recognized as equal citizens in our own land. Today, we find ourselves at the precipice, with the only option remaining being "CONFRONTATION". Our discontentment arises from the attempt to impose Nwamara Eucharia upon us as the Caretaker Chairman by the First Lady of Ondo State, Mrs. Betty Akeredolu. We want to make it unequivocally clear that we shall not accept this imposition. We, the people of Odigbo, refuse to be relegated to second-class citizenship within our own homeland.
